The PEF Summer Enrichment High School Program serves incoming 9th -12th Grade students.
Programs are held at Piedmont High School located at 800 Magnolia Avenue in Piedmont.

2019 SUMMER COURSE OPPORTUNITIES
EXPLORING COMPUTER SCIENCE
This course meets the PHS computer science graduation requirement; students explore major topics in computer science: computer programming, web design, computer applications, 3D animation as well as discuss computer ethics and current events. This course allows students to be creative while learning problem solving and computational skills as well as discover their interest in pursuing additional computer science courses at PHS and beyond.
A maximum of two excused absences and no unexcused absences are allowed for this high school credit course. All missed work must be made up and turned in to the teacher by the end of the course to receive PHS graduation credit.

PERSONAL STATEMENT FOR COLLEGE APPLICATION WORKSHOP
Get a jumpstart in the College Application process! Incoming Seniors will spend a week working with a credentialed high school English teacher on their personal statements for college. Students will examine the prompts for the Common Application and the UC Application, immerse themselves in texts, brainstorm, write, share, discuss, and revise their writing. They will come out of the course with a strong statement that will help them stand out for college admission.
Cost: $250/$275
Meeting Times: June 17-21 on Mon-Fri from 10-12:30 (5 classes)
Due to popular demand, an additional class was added: June 11-14 Tues-Fri from 9:30-12:30
